Dolphin Tour

Grandma thought she was coming out to a nice and peaceful week with the grandchildren. Only to find herself climbing on to a wave runner the next day. After everyone is all geared up for the 90 min. dolphin tour. We noticed Grandma was feeling a little anxious. Chris forgot a minor detail, Grandma doesn't swim and she's never been on a wave runner. Thank goodness for lifejackets! Despite Grandma's fears she gave it a try, with Nathan hanging on in the back. At times, our tour guide would be leading us all at 35 ml. hour. It doesn't sound fast, but it is when you have small children.
Poor Chris, got stuck with Elisa who fell asleep for the last part of the tour. At times Chris wasn't able to keep up with the group. because the waves made the ride choppy and Elisa would flop side to side.

Hmmm... A little dangerous!

The story is we were in the dolphin cove and Alex wanted to sit in the back like his older siblings. I think he thought he could see the dolphins better. I am not sure if it really was a better view, but it made him happy. Once we started to pick up speed I moved him to the front with me.

Chris and Grandma and thier crew watching the dolphins swim around and around them.

Chris knew the kids and I really like dolphins and the beach. The thoughtful husband I have did some research and made all the plans for us to take a few day vacation at the beach. It was perfect! Thanks for the fun trip Chris, we love you!

Area 2 Swim Meet

Nathan swam backstroke and freestyle in his very first swim meet.
Way to go Nathan!

Nathan having a proud moment.

Cait came in first place for the breaststroke and beat her best time.

Caitlin waiting for the officials to allow them to get on the starting blocks.

Samantha is waiting to the right, outside of the pool in the blue suit. She had a great meet and beat all her best times.

Aquatic Pool

Elisa has come along way this summer.
At the first of the summer she would cry and hated to go
under water. Now we can't keep her on top of the water.

If looks could kill! Alex thinks he's getting his point accross. I think other wise and find this to be a kodak moment. I am sure this picture will come in handy in the future. Maybe, in a therepist office or perhaps with his prom date or a wife to be.

Nathan taking it easy and chilling out by the pool. No! Actually, he is in time out for picking on his innoccent little brother.

Nathan is an awsome big brother to his little sister. He loves helping her with whatever it is the little princess wants. Although, so does everyone else and now we have a spoiled princess.

Alex lives for the fun and excitment.

Beach Day with Friends

Mommy picture with a few kids to the side.
Some friends from church met at the beach to
enjoy little time together.

They look a little to comfortable. Can't you see
a big wave coming and crashing down on them.
Oh yea, that did happen!

Lover Boy, is already going after the older girls.
Watch out Sarah! You are on his top girlfriend list.

Caitlin's thinking, this boggie board rocks.

Samantha, Camden and friends are

off to some serious boggie board time.

4th of July and more

Nathan and Mom posing while Samantha practices her photography skills.

On the 4th of July we had some friends come over for a BBQ and some Fireworks. I know our family had a good time I hope we didn't scare them with our wild bunch.

Last Day of School

Nathan and his teacher the last day of School.

Caitlin and her good friend Heather the last day of school.

Samantha's 4th grade class know's how to party the last day of school.

Elisa loved helping take care of the puppy.

We took in this 3 week rescued puppy for a while. We had to feed him every 2-3hrs. He was a pretty sick puppy. When he started to feel better, we took him to Pet Smart to have an animal rescue group find him a good home.

Alex has touble written all over his face.
